The six-week initiative aims to provide 200 wheelchairs to people with mobility needs, while encouraging Thais to incorporate more walking into their daily routines.

Nestlé Thailand has launched the fourth year of its “Walk More, Give More” campaign, an initiative that converts participants’ accumulated daily steps into wheelchair donations for people with mobility needs.

Running from August 15 to September 26, 2026, the six-week campaign aims to generate enough collective activity to provide 200 wheelchairs through partner organizations including the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) and The Mirror Foundation’s “Puay Hai Yuem” project, which lends medical equipment to people in need.

Under the campaign mechanism, every 10 million steps recorded collectively through Nestlé Thailand’s LINE Official Account, @NestleThailand, will contribute towards one wheelchair donation.

The initiative combines health promotion with social participation by allowing people to contribute through an activity already embedded in everyday life: walking.

Now in its fourth year, “Walk More, Give More” has resulted in the donation of 182 wheelchairs over the previous three years, according to Nestlé Thailand.

Expanding participation beyond the organization

This year, Nestlé is broadening the campaign to encourage greater participation from the general public.

Salinla Seehaphan, Corporate Affairs and Sustainability Director at Nestlé (Thai) Ltd., said the campaign reflects the company’s broader approach to supporting quality of life alongside its food and beverage business.

“Guided by our core philosophy of Good food, Good life, Nestlé has consistently produced tasty, high-quality food and beverages along with activities that promote a good quality of life for Thais,” she said.

“This year, we are expanding the campaign to reach the general public, encouraging Thais to improve their health while collectively creating a better quality of life for those in need.”

Participants can connect to the campaign through Nestlé Thailand’s LINE Official Account, where their steps can be accumulated towards the collective target.

According to the company, the campaign concept was developed in response to consumer insights indicating that people remain interested in contributing to society but increasingly look for ways to participate that can fit naturally into their everyday routines without requiring significant lifestyle changes.

The initiative also reflects growing attention to health and wellness, with walking positioned as an accessible form of daily physical activity.

Lumpini Park launch highlights accessibility in public spaces

The 2026 campaign was officially launched at Lumpini Park in Bangkok, with support from the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security and the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration.

As part of the launch, Nestlé presented nine specially designed wheelchairs to Lumpini Park for visitors to borrow free of charge.

The wheelchairs were individually decorated by nine artists, including Tod – Aruk Ornvilai (Sahred Toy), Tui – Boonsit Yoothavorn (Jmons), Mick – Monthon Viseshsin, and Atom – Pakon Kaewdee (Atompakon).

Beyond serving as part of the campaign’s launch activities, the wheelchairs are intended to improve access to the park for visitors with mobility challenges while drawing attention to the role of inclusive facilities in public spaces.

The campaign demonstrates a model of social participation built around small, repeatable actions rather than one-time contributions, connecting personal health goals with a collective social outcome.

People interested in participating can record their steps through the LINE Official Account @NestleThailand from August 15 to September 26, 2026.
