As a leader in real estate development, Sansiri continues to advance its vision for sustainability by partnering with Sprinkle, a producer of 100% natural drinking water, and Envicco, a subsidiary of GC Group and the first manufacturer of recycled plastic pellets in Thailand. Together, as part of this collaboration, they are taking steps to save the planet by introducing rPET (Recycled Polyethylene Terephthalate) bottles—made entirely from 100% recycled plastic. These bottles are now being used to serve customers visiting Sansiri’s projects, starting from October 15, 2024.
The rPET bottles offer properties equivalent to those made from new plastic materials, meeting rigorous quality standards certified by USA-FDA Approved, EFSA Approved, GHP (Good Hygienic Practice), and HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point). This ensures they are clean, high-quality, and environmentally friendly.
This collaboration represents a significant milestone in driving societal and environmental change. Sansiri calls on all sectors to prioritize resource efficiency and become part of the movement toward sustainability.
Most importantly, the adoption of rPET bottles reduces greenhouse gas emissions by up to 14,000 kilograms of carbon annually—equivalent to planting 1,474 trees each year. This initiative further emphasizes Sansiri’s unwavering commitment to achieving net-zero emissions by 2050, paving the way for a low-carbon society and ensuring a sustainable world for future generations.
